Are you listening to your symphony?

Are you listening to your symphony?

As I am washing the dishes, consciously, watching and observing each movement my hand makes, a thought comes to my mind, ‘Doesn’t life actually pass very slow?’

If your presence is there at each touch of your fingertip, and you can feel the varying sensation of each breath you take, don’t you think that life actually flows calmly?

In our race against time, we forget to live, we just function by default, controlled by our set patterns of thoughts and habits. We fail to be in the moment.

Credits: incimages

We just exist as if a song is on repeat with no one listening, it keeps on playing throughout our lives and we miss out on the beautiful melody that has been playing for a long time.

But again, when you are entirely in the present, you observe that time flows much slower, may because you can feel each musical note as it rises and falls, maybe because you notice the change in timbre or attenuation in the tones.

credits: statnews

It makes me come back to the same question that few conscious humans of entire mankind, have been asking,’ Is life worth living?’, assuming that we shall return back to nothingness, just as we were born of nothingness.

It is funny to see the irony, if you are unconscious you overlook the symphony playing, on the other side when you are conscious enough to feel each beat, you think about whether it is worth living for.

Maybe it all depends on the song we are playing.

If we like the song we may hum, or tap to the beat of it. But again, you can’t always do the things you love, right? Inevitably, you will have to perform mundane, dry tasks which you don’t enjoy much, but have to do for the sake of living.

Since, we don’t have the power to control the playlists, as in life, we can just request to the one playing it, we have to bear both sides of it, relish things which we adore, and endure the ones which we don’t.

And you have the choice to do this only when you do something – ‘

Being completely in the present and listening to the melody.’

But again, what do you think, are you listening to the symphony?

Why do we need to marry?

Why do we need to marry?

Why can’t we simply exist and live in the world?

Is Marriage
really
a
need?
Or is it something that the society has made it,
marketed it well and
brainwashed us into believing it to be.

If love is your answer;
Why can’t we love all?
Why can’t we love our loved ones the way we love our special ones.
Why can’t we do that?

Photo by more same about on Pexels.com

If kids are your answer;
Why can’t we simply have a collective nursery; Wherein, each child there is yours and is not.
Yet you love and care for them.
Or better, do we need really need to tie down, two humans, to raise a child?

If Intimacy is your answer;
Why can’t we be intimate with people we like and love.
Why do we restrict ourselves to just a single person throughout our lives?

If Money/Security is your answer;
Are we so much selfish that we are ready to live a life with someone who we don’t love but like their status or the safety which they offer?
Or are we being dumb here?

Photo by bin Ziegler on Pexels.com

If Companionship is your answer;
In this transient world of hyper-connectiveness, why can’t we develop a strong bond of pure energy that stays unbreakable, no matter what?
Why can’t we have companionship with other hoomans as well?

Photo by Mateus Souza on Pexels.com

If Making love is your answer;
Why can’t we make love to the many loved ones cherish?
Why does it have to be pure, animal-like, stinking of just pure flesh?
Mind you, I am not here talking about lust.
I am talking about the expression of a pure form of love through making love.
Why can’t we cuddle other than the one?
Why can’t we snuggle other than the knotted person?
Why can’t we freely express our love through our bodies?

Do we really require chains to love and to be loved?
Do we need cages to be selectively made love to?

Who started all of this anyway?
And why are all of us believing in it so blindly, so diligently?

Why is it that to even question this, we become frightful, fall into the forever abyss of self-doubt, and wondering is something wrong with ourselves?

Why don’t we have a free society where we can question anything and everything?

Coming back to the topic at hand.

Aren’t we too much harsh, to expect everything above mentioned
from

JUST A SINGLE HUMAN BEING.

What happens if your partner doesn’t or let’s say, CAN’T provide you on a platter all the dishes you just ordered?
Be it his/her own will or shortcomings or no fault of her own.
What if she simply can’t provide you with that, why are we so harsh on them?
Why do we behave so evil to them?

No human is holistically developed. Every man has his own natural and acquired mistakes.

In the first place, Why do we EXPECT so MUCH from a SINGLE HUMAN BEING?
Why do we DEMAND so much from a SINGLE RELATIONSHIP?

Why can’t we have multiple loved ones?
Why can’t we have different humans for the same?

Do we really need to settle with just a single one?

Is your life precious to you, if yes, in what things would you like to invest this precious life into?

Do you have dreams and aspirations to do something else?
What energizes you?

What can I do today that energises me?

What is that thing, which energises your mind, body and soul?
If it energises you, that’s your passion.

When the true moon shines.

Everyone talks about love, why doesn’t anyone talk about Heartbreaks?

Let us normalise talking about heartaches.

WHY IS 1ST LOVE DIFFICULT TO UNLOVE?

It’s just when you realize that CSK is going to win the match with 1 ball and puny 2 runs to win
And a traumatic wicket gets lost,
The observer keeps on counting the broken heart pieces just hitherto Pi’s value is reached.

On similar lines, as intoxicating Pehla Nasha is, so is equally the excruciating pehla Hamdard is.

Maybe because when it’s the first time, you genuinely feel, insecurely ponder, innocently wish,
Yes, this is it.
This is what true love feels like.

And when the Guileless
Glass Taj Mahal is broken into millions of prism shattering sept colour, the life becomes too colourless to survive.
To breathe.

The gullible feelings never truly leaves, for just like the waves it loves to keep returning and robs away the granular sanity, gleefully torturing the shores for five eternities.

After sustained atonement for falling and diving into love,
Your body regrets to host such a soul, your brain determines the world is conspiring against you, the mind wonders what evil it had done, that this sorrow is bestowed upon me while the heart is shivering,
It’s hopeful yet afraid of ever finding true love again
if it truly exists.

The Body requests it’s occupant,
Please, O, Please my lord,
Go and hide, my master, for I can see the future no more.
Give me some grains of poppy or better, full ale of it
My lord I will believe our time has come, let’s go and finally sleep on the merciful lap of our holy mother.

The Brain advises, fear not my fellow,
I will give my best,
I will strive my everything not to ever let you make the same godforsaken mistake again.
I will always be on guard,
for now,
I have seen how treacherous a harmless Lily can be.

And mind speaks up,
Fear not oh my heart,. you have felt what true love is,
Carry on,
Walk along the Destined path,
For you don’t know b when you stumble upon a Kohinoor while weeping over a lost pearl.

Heart finally talks to itself.
The past is definitely Beautiful and I’m glad that love happened,
If it was written, that it may happen this way, so be it.

I have got no Regrets,
For I have now known the happiness of true love,
I have come to the realisation,
All the time I was weeping in the forlorn corner,
I serve a much bigger role as the instruments of the one up above,
For my purpose would be to spread,
Seamlessly, Indifferently, Unconditionally,
The bliss of eternal love around me.

Yet, I have this youthful craziness to jump again,
Into the depths of the marooned sea,
If ever the true moon shines,
When the true moon shines.

If it shines.

What is true love?

Photo by Shihab Nymur on Pexels.com

As this Valentine day comes, I stumble upon an old google note that I had written when I was in my late teens, which was about – Love.
I have been wondering for a long time, What is true love anyway?

This is what I had written back then…

The Lil Teen Me
Time spending – basic stuff na and after a time you fall in love but that doesn’t always mean s/he is the SOULMATE na, coz if you can like n understand anyone with whom you have to spend a long period of time. [Isn’t this so frigging true?!? That’s the secret of most Arranged marriages I think!]
Maybe it is seeing in the eyes of her and letting the world pass by, as it happens in meditation. [Damn, I am crazy Romantic since back then eh xD]
She should understand me when I wanna walk alone just being there & not whispering a word just for letting me live that moment. [I didn’t know I had this level of maturity back then :P]
Capturing candids when she least expects. [Yay! :D]

After reading these, my curious heart couldn’t help but ask the question, which has bothered lovers for eternity; I started asking people out.

Check out these cool answers.

A Pretty Physician says.
When you get along well.
When you let them be when they want to and at the same time be around.
When your presence energises each other.
When you naturally incline towards each other.
When taking effort doesn’t feel like taking effort.
Whether you win or lose, you want to announce it to the other person immediately.

An arranged-marriage-newly-wed-bride says.
Nothing is ready-made in this world…we become soulmates for the people we love and are worth changing for.

A Beautiful Kathak dancer says.
Me and My Doggo ofc!

An Indian-Guy-Studying-In-China
The major difference as per me between true love and soulmate is when you see the dark side or flaws of a soulmate you might feel less attracted or maybe sometimes go different ways.
But in the case of true love even when you see him/her at her lowest and at her darkest side you still see only beauty and nothing else just like lotus it grows in swamps but whenever we look at it at its worst we still only appreciate it’s beauty.

A Passionate Gardener says.
Someone you care about like yourself.
Two people = one soul.

A Musical Audiologist says, Love is something you get, when you aren’t looking for it.

I ask you,
My amigo,
What do you think True love is?

Think Fast, Talk Smart – a review.

Who should watch this? Those hoomans who want to learn the art of

1. Being witty. 2. Spontaneous 3. Better presenter. 4. Amazing speaker. 5. Super Entertainer

Learning pearls

Anxiety.

How do deal with it?

Acceptance. Go inside. And accept the feeling. And watch let it fade automatically.

Being in the moment. Most of the things which we worry are in the future states. Eg. I won’t get good grades while writing the test. So a smarter way to end this torment is to become fully aware of the moment. Being conscious of the present. Gift the present to thyself my friend.

How to do this ? Many ways as music exercise walk count number backwards.

Presentation skills.

Start the session with a dialogic state. Ask questions in the beginning. This will engage your audience right from the beginning. Instead of pointers one may use questions, on how the session is going to go about.

Conversational sentences.
Want to connect to your people more? Don’t make them aloof by using heavy vocabulary. Instead talk to them. Make them feel why what you are saying should matter to them. Make it personal.

Tongue twisters. Use them before delivering your speech. It will have double benefit of decreasing your anxiety and warming up your voice. Tip:- Never perform without warming up your throat!

Audience. Know your audience. Know what they are expecting from you.

Humor. Humor is a great connector. Ask your friends whether it’s funny. Have a back up plan. Have fun!

Observations about him

Confidence. It oozes as he speaks.

Teacher. He’s a proper teacher who loves to teach. You can guess from the way he takes the lecture.

Humor. He has the knack of delivering good jokes at the right timings.

Smart. He definitely is a smartass.

Heroic habits. The habits which we can inculcate in our lives.

Number game. The next time you are in a presentation or talk, do use statistics. It gives more weight and credibility to whatever you have to offer.

Humor. Use more humor in between so that the audience is all riled up.

Name game. It’s a fun game wherein you point and name at anything but it’s original name.

Opportunity mindset. When you see every problem as an opportunity to learn, to have fun, you can enjoy it and solve it at the same time.

Listen. You need to listen first before responding.

Structure. Give structure to what you are saying or presenting. Eg. problem-solution- benefit or Opportunity- Solution-Benefit or what – So what – now what. Structure sets you free.

In hostile situation. First acknowledge the emotions then move to structure.

Ask pulling questions. Eg. Imagine a world where everyone can get free quality healthcare…

In an interrogative situation. Paraphrase the question. So that you will get to know the question better and will have time to think.

Give them the mic. Ask them the to give an advise on the current situation which you want to ask about.

In any spontaneous situation you have to do two things simultaneously, What to say and How to say it.

Why Air hostess are one of the most mentally strong professionals?

The next time you board a flight, look at the 2nd next beautiful thing around you, what do you find? Air hostess. 1st, of course, is the beauteous scenic views.

They are some of the most mentally strong professionals I have observed.

Why you ask?

If you notice closely they are pretty stressed yet they never show it neither on their face, tone or body language. They are almost always composed.

On looking from the clouds, giving it an eagle’s view, Professionals who deal with people on day to day basis have the most daunting job.
There’s a spectrum of emotions right from agonizing experiences to satisfying moments.

For example an air hostess subtle hidden frustration on trying to make a big Indian family seat their seat on the seat when the flight is moving prepping to take off, while the cool pilot is shouting through the speakers that we gonna get high folks!
Or the satisfaction you get after you walk out that kid who couldn’t stand on his badly fractured legs as a medico.

After all, we deal with people, who can be crazy, dumb, idiotic also can be too smart, overconfident and sceptical.

I am sure they have to deal with lots more people crap than we ever will.

Like the brain deaf man who never wears the masks even after smiling screaming unto his ears for septillion times,
or the obscene cold stare of a seemingly well educated and dressed uncle who she’s trying to ignore since boarding,
or that ever thirsty crow who’s she served ocean full of water and keeps asking for more of course after flooding the plane with his mutra Visarjan.

They definitely must have been drilled with people skills, scenarios.
Trained with all the etiquettes and mannerisms.

I wonder what could their mind voices be when they are faced with some other human antiquities.

God bless and save these charming humans from the mango public.

“Things About S*X No One Ever Told You- Josh Talks”-. a YT review

It’s a nice, simple thought-provoking video on sexuality and intercourse.
It’s just the tip of the iceberg though, whatever she talks here.
It is more or less an amalgamation of unusual to hear facts and scenarios and a definite will to spread the wings of sexuality advocacy.

Things to ponder upon

Sex is not just an act.
It’s power. It’s energy. It’s a way to channelise the energy.

Porn.
Porn is an entertainment industry. Its sole existence is to make money.

The Body-shaming pandemic.
It’s prevalent everywhere. Any ideas on how we can tackle this evil giant?

Observations about her.

1. Knowledge
She knows her shit. She knows through and through what she’s talking about.

2. Mission.
You can palpate the passion in her words when she says she wants to normalise talking about sex and sexuality.

Buzz words
1. Sexuality
Stuff in and around sex & not just making love.

2. Sexual Frustration

Sexual frustration is a sense of dissatisfaction stemming from a discrepancy between a person’s desired and achieved sexual activity.

“Sexual frustration is a natural response to there being an imbalance between what you want (or need) sexually and what you’re currently getting or experiencing.”

It manifests differently in everybody. For some people, it may present as generalized anger or agitation, for others, depression or anxiety. And for some, as recklessness. ^2
